This unit relies on a transcription of the speech published in The Collected Works of Theodore Parker, copy-text A [=A]. This speech appears in various forms, but the transcription in [=A] seems to be the most accurate version since it is closest to when the speech was given.
Copy-text B was used for grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and paragraphing.
